Joker: Last Laugh (Complete Story Arc)

His name is whispered in hushed tones by even the most evil super-villains. During the course of his demented career, he’s maimed and murdered thousands of people, including former Batgirl Barbara Gordon and Jason “Robin” Todd.
No one knows who he is or how he came to be; as unpredictable as he is deadly, he has no motives or desires other than to inflict pain and suffering, gain fame and notoriety, and demonstrate to the world at large that life is nothing more than a cruel, sick joke.
And he’s just found out he’s going to die.
But the Joker, Batman’s greatest nemesis (and quite possibly the vilest villain in the DC universe), has no intention of going gently into that good night. Instead, he’s determined to go out with a bang, and to have the last laugh on his enemies… not to mention a certain member of the Batman family.
As the story begins, the Joker is a guest in the Slab, the maximum security prison for super-powered criminals, when he discovers his clock is running out. Using the same brew of chemicals that transformed him into the rictus-faced sociopath that he sees in the mirror every day, the Joker decides to ensure his legacy by “jokerizing” the other super-villains, who escape the Slab to spread their chaos across the globe.
It’s up to the heroes to rein in this new threat to the world, and time is running out: President Luthor soon decides he’s had enough clowning around, and is planning to send in the armed forces to take care of the Joker and his allies…permanently.
